Teething Tip

My little Marshmallow is teething something fierce.  Most of the time she deals with it pretty well, but recently here she’s been extra grumpy.  I discovered a cool trick that I want to share with you!

I’ve been making baby food this way for years.  You probably know the technique, chop the veggie or fruit, simmer in a little bit of water until soft, blend, pour into ice cube trays and freeze.  Taking half of one of these frozen butternut-squash-cubes and sticking in one of these mesh thingys-frozen, has become a new BEST ever teething trick!

It’s great because it’s not too messy, the squash is pretty solid and it’s sweet and she’s learning to feed herself.  This would probably work well with a frozen banana chunk too.

She likes it!

She’s 6 months old if you’re wondering!

Joyfully,

Mrs. Taffy

  2. Thanks for the tip! We received one of these fun things as a gift when our newest blessing was born a few months ago! Hopefully we have a few more months before she starts teething!
