Miracle Maker-Give Away

51eATY2HnSL

This is our all time favorite Easter movie.  And since it’s almost Easter, I wanted to bless one of my readers with their very own copy just in time for Resurrection Day!  In case you can’t tell, it’s a DVD!

If you’ve never seen this before I promise you won’t be disappointed.  Probably the thing I love the most about this movie is how Jesus is portrayed as a man.  So many Easter movies make Jesus seem so sad, so stoic.  But Jesus in this movie is portrayed as joyful, passionate, loving, real.  My favorite scene is when he rescues Mary from the spirits that are tormenting her, it’s such an amazing scene of love and compassion— Jesus reaches in, pulls her out of her agony-deliverance, freedom.  I cry every time!

  2. My favorite Easter movie? Well, I know my kids would say Veggie Tales An Easter Carol. I love the song in there where Mr. Nezzer is seeing Christ's life in all the stained glass windows.

  11. Watching The Ten Commandments is a bit of an Easter tradition, so that is probably my favorite Easter movie. Favorite book? Maybe The Robe.

  20. We really enjoyed the newest Veggie Tale Easter show (on Netflix streaming right now.)

As an adult, I enjoy The Passion of the Christ. I just don't watch it every year as it is so emotionally draining.
