Our newest toy from Guidcraft is these fun Blockmates with their companion-5 piece Hardwood Unit Block Set. Aren’t these the cutest things you’ve ever seen? Guidecraft makes all kind of them: Vehicles, Dinosaurs, Safari Animals.
There are 4 parts to each animal. If you look closely you can see that inside each part is a patented “slip-grip” system that keeps the block mates securely attached to the hardwood blocks. Laffy Taffy needed only a little help in getting the pieces pushed on all the way, he didn’t need any help taking the pieces off!
Look at what a nice size they are!
He loved incorporating these wooden blocks with his Rainbow Blocks. I don’t have a picture of it, but these animal mates do fit on the Rainbow Blocks as well, not as snuggly, but still plenty of fun for a silly rainbow farm!
Sometimes he would get confused as to which pieces went where, but then we would end up with a funny creature that was just as much fun to play with.
Guidecraft sells these fantastic blockmates for $27.00, you can also find them on Amazon to save a little money. This month Guidecraft is also giving a way a set of Farm Animal Blockmates and their companion wooden blocks. Visit Jodi at Granola Mom for God for a chance to win!
Joyfully,
Mrs. Taffy
